Making cookies is so much fun. Now I have a little helper. Kylee pours and mixes and tastes! Reagan just smiles oblivious to how delicious her future Christmases will be!

Gingerbread Houses

I hope the Long family has started a new tradition. We set up a table at auntie Gina's house and built yummy gingerbread houses. The kids had a blast using frosting, candy, and gingerbread cookies to make their own versions of gingerbread houses. It was so cute to watch them use their creativity on how they put each candy in place as the windows or roof shingles. I was surprised that they spent so much time on this craft, especially Owen. :) Kylee ate most of her candy before she put it on her house. I think and hope next year her house will have more decorations. This was fun and enjoyable to watch. I love these kids!

Grand Californian Hotel ~ Christmas

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is go on our annual family trip to Disneyland. We get everyone ready after work and all drive down to the Grand Californian Hotel. Once there, we park ourselves on the comfortable sofas and wait in line to see Santa while listening to the carolers. After this, we venture over to Storyteller's Cafe and eat the most delicious dinner with my favorite corn chowder! Yum! After dinner we like to go back by the beautiful tree and relax. There is also a gorgeous fireplace with rocking chairs around it. This is such a special time for me and my family. The only thing missing was Grandpa! I miss him so much!

Fun with sister

Kylee loves to play dress up and she usually talks Kevin or I into playing with her. Now that Reagan is getting older, Kylee now dresses her sister up! It is so cute to watch them in Kylee's room playing with her new kitchen. Anyone who comes over has to have "dinner" in her kitchen at her tinkerbell table. She will make you anything you want from "begtebles" to soup. Kylee also likes to take her purse and Reagan's shopping cart to shop for groceries. As these girls grow up, I pray that they will always be friends and love to play together!
